Abstract
ThisstudywasconductedincentralIranamongallfirst-yearuniversitystudentsstudyingengineeringcoursesatArakUniversityofTechnology.Allstudents(No=310)wereincludedin thisstudy.Instrumentsusedmostly consistedofacomputeranxietyquestionnaireplusalearningstylequestionnaire.Thedatawasanalyzedbybothdescriptiveandinferentialstatistics(Mean,Frequency,StandardDeviations,IndependentT-testaswellasPointBiserialCorrelationCoefficient).Theresultsindicatedthattherewasastatisticallysignificantrelationshipbetweencomputeranxietyandsensory-intuitivelearningstyles,inthatthestudentshavingsensorylearningstylesufferedfromcomputeranxietymorefrequentlythanthestudenthavingintuitivelearningstyles.Inaddition,therewasastatisticallysignificantrelationshipbetweencomputeranxietyandverbal-visuallearningstyle,giventhatthestudentshavingvisuallearningstylesufferedfromcomputeranxietymore thanthe studentshaving verbal learningstyle. Nostatisticallysignificant relationship,however,wasfoundbetweencomputeranxietyandgender.
